This position offers a unique chance for personal and professional growth, preparing you for a successful and fulfilling career in sales at Sappi.
Upon successful completion of the program you will be assigned to one of Sappi’s major markets.
The program provides exposure to multiple aspects of industry selling including:
- Paper & Printing
- Time Management
- Advanced Complex Selling Skills
- Key Account Planning & Management
- Developing an understanding of a customer’s business
- Strategic Thinking Skills
- Negotiation Skills
- Understanding profitability – for the company and the customer

Responsibilities
After fully participating and complying with all aspects of the sales leadership program, must be able to:
- Understand the mechanics of the paper industry and distribution
- Understand the detailed selling process
- Develop an overview of the competitive market place vs. Sappi
- Learn how to resource and who/what are the resources in order to obtain answers and complete tasks
- Be prepared to accept key account responsibility
- Develop basic business plans and reviews
- Understand business tracking territory administration
Qualifications:
- Desire to pursue a career in sales
- Ability to relocate following the end of the training period
